(RolePlaying) 의 줄임말로 역할극 놀이.<br /> <br /> 주로 블리자드 게임을 위주로 발달했으며, 본래 게임의 목적을 떠나 유저들이 게임 세계에서<br /> 자체으로 독립적인 이야기를 만들어내고 그 과정에서 다른 참가자들과 상호교감을 할 수 있다. <br /> 이를테면 일종의 집단 창작.<br /> <br /> 스타크래프트,워크래프트,월드오브 워크래프트, 스타크래프트2 모두 RP를 가지고 있으며<br /> 소규모 외부 커뮤니티를 위주로 활성화 됐기 때문에 그들만의 은어,규칙을 모르면 게임에 참가하기 어렵다.<br /> <br /> 워크RP는 이 중 가장 발달 된 형태의 RP이다.<br /> 완성도 높은 에디터의 영향으로 맵과 유닛의 조작도가 타 RP와 비교해 월등히 뛰어나다.<br /> 다만 이러한 탓에 배경을 구성하는 시간에 대부분의 플레이 타임이 낭비되거나<br /> 혹은 배경꾸미기를 더 즐기는 유저들이 생기는 등 본말이 전도됐다는 지적이 있다.</div>
